1.THE BEST AMONGST YOU:

2907.Ob.Affan narrated that Prophet(SAWW) said:

the best amongst you is the one who learns Quran and teaches it.(TIRMIDI)

2.QURAN IS OUR PRIDE:

Hazrat Ayesha narrated that Prophet(SAWW) said:for everyone there is some pride that they boast of:the pride of my Ummat is Al-Quran.Ø

3.REWARD OF READING QURAN:

568:Buraida b. Al-Aslami narrated that Prophet(SAWW) said:he who reads Quran,learns it and acts accordingly shall be put on a crown of light like sunlight on the day of judgement.and his parents will be dressed in two robes imcomparable with anything of this world.they will ask”why are we dressed like this?it will be said”because of the recitation of Holy Quran by your son.”(MUSTDARIK I HAAKIM)

4.CONDUCT OF READER:

Abdullah b.Amar b.Alas narrated that Prophe(tSAWW) said:he who reads QURAN,gathers the knowledge of Prophets in between his ribs without direct revelation to him.now he must not respond with anger to those who are angered or deal with the stupid and the illiterate in the same manner,in honour of the great knowledge the word Allah that he possesses in his inner self.(MUSTADARK I HAAKIM)

5.ONE WHO STAYS ENGROSSED IN QURAN,RECIEVES MORE:

2926:Abu saeed narrated that Prophet(SAWW) said:Allah has said:he who remains engrossed in reading Quran and does not find time for zikar and supplication,i give him more than what I give to those who ask for.the words of Allah has precedence over everything as Allah Himself has precedence over all of His creatures.(TIRMIDI)

6.BEST WAY TO EARN ALLAH’S ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:

555:Abu Zarr Ghiffari narrated that Prophet(SAWW) said:you cannot get closer to Allah through anything except with what has come out of Himself i.e QURAN(MUSTADIRK I HAAKIM)

(7).331:Jabir narrated that Prophet said:the recommendation of Quran is one that is surely accepted.if it confirms someone he is recognized.he who keeps it ahead(and practices it)it leads him to paradise;and he who throwsnit behind his back(and doesnot act accordingly)it drags him to the fire of hell.(IBN E HABBAN)

8.ELEVATION BY QURAN:

1897:Omer narrated that Prophet(SAWW) said:Allah elevates many people by this Quran and degrades many through it(i.e those who acts accordingly are honored and those who ignore are debased).(SAHEE MUSLIM)

(9).2914:Abdullah b. Umer narrated that Prophet(SAWW) said:the day of judgement  the reciter of Quran shall be said:recite the Quran and be elevate to the stories of paradise! And recite slowly as you used to recite in the world.your place in paradise is the point where your recitation of the last verse ends.(TIRMIDI)



10.WORKING HARD ON RECITATION:

1862:Hazrat Ayesha narrated that Prophet(SAWW) said:expert of Quran(one who has learnt it well and recites it well)becomes the companion of noble and honored ambassadors(of ALLAH)and he who stutters while reciting and still strives to recite,for him the reward is double.(SAHEE MUSLIM)

11.TWO ENVIABLE PERSONS:

1894:Hazrat Abdullah b. Umer narrated that Prophet(SAWW) said:no envy on two;the one to whom Allah has given the knowledge of AlQuran and recites and practices it by day and night and the other is one who has been given riches and he spends it in the way of Allah by day and night.(SAHEE MUSLIM)



12.SPECIAL PEOPLE OF ALLAH:

55:Hazrat Anas narrated that Prophet(SAWW) said;for Allah some people are like the special people of household.the Companions asked:O Messenger of Allah!who are they?He said:they are the people of Quran:they are the people of ALLAH and are special to Him.(MUSTADAK AL HAKIM)



(13).Hazrat Obaida al Mulaiki narrated that Prophet(SAWW) said:O people of Quran !donot make the Quran your pillow :instead recite it as it ought to be recited:publish it ;recite it in the best voice ;and ponder upon its verses ;so tht you may prosper;and never yearn its reward (in this world)because(in hereafter)it carries a great reward.(BEHQI-SHUB UL EMEEN)

14.DESERTED HOUSE:

2913:Hazrat Ibn e Abbas narrated that Prophet(SAWW) said:he whose heart doesnot carry even a portion of Quran is like a deserted house i.e  like a house is known by its dwellers,(in the same way the life and spirit of one’s heart is given through remembering of Al-Quran).(TIRMIDI-FAZAIL E QURAN)



15.EXAMPLES OF RECITERS

5427:Hazrat Musa Al Ashri narrated that ProphetSAWW) said :the example of a Momin who recites Quran is like the plant  of Utrajjah that has a fine essence and tastes great ;the example of momin who doesnot recite Quran is like a date tree which has no fragrance but tastes good;the example of a munafiq who recites Quran is like a  flower that smells fine but tastes bitter whereas the example of a munafiq who doesnot recite Quran is like the plant of Hanzal that smells bad and tastes bitter.(SAHEE BUKHARI)



16.RUST ON HEARTS:

Hazrat Abdullah b.Omer narrated that Prophet(SAWW) said:hearts too get rusted just like iron does when gets wet.it was asked:how to erase it ?O Messenger of Allah!he said:by mention of death more often and by recitation of Quran.(BEHQI-SHUBUL EMAN)



17.KNOWLEDGE OF THE BOOK:

75:Hazrat Ibn e Abbas narrated that Prophet(SAWW) once embraced me and prayed:O Allah !give him the knowledge of the BOOK.(SAHEE BUKHARI)



18.QURAN NOOR AND ZIKAR

Hazrat Abu zar Ghaffari narrated that  Prophet(SAWW) said to me:be constant in the recitation of Quran  and Zikar of Allah;this action will result in your remembrance in the heavens and light of guidance in the earth.(AL EMAAN 272)



(19).Hazrat Abuzar  narrated that I asked the ProphetSAWW) to advise me .he said:maintain Taqwa!it is the root source of all your actions and deeds.i beseeched:please tell me more !O Prophet of Allah !he said :recite Quran it is a guiding light for you in this world and a treasure for you in the hereafter.(IBN I HABBAN)

20.Hazrat Jabir narrated that Prophet(SAWW) said:knowledge is of two types.one is that penetrates the hearts;that is the beneficial one.the otherone remains on the tongue(devoid of practice and influence)this will be Allah’s aurgument against man.(ALTERGHEEB WAL TURGEEB)
